I am interested in this also as I don't know if one must have a residencia to have a bus pass. I am unreliably informed that merely a visit to the Ayuntamiento Office by the church in Mojacar Pueblo is where you get the pass.

There is a card for people OVER 65 that allows discount on travel, opticians, hearing aids etc. To apply for it you need to see the social worker at your Town Hall. You will need photocopies of your residencia and passport and a passport size photo. It usually takes a month to arrive in the post.

The free bus pass is for the local yellow Mojacar bus route.  Go to the Town Hall for it with a small photo passport size and you need to be registered on the padron as a resident.
