Now that Amazon are not taking Visa credit cards anymore, can anyone recommend a euro mastercard credit card with no fees if paid in full every month?

Not sure if you can still use a Spanish issued credit card.  All the articles I have read only mentions UK issued visa credit cards.  You can still use visa debit but of course won't have any purchase protection.

If you are Resident why not get a credit card from your Spanish bank?

N26 is a German online bank. No fees, no charges for ATM withdrawals. Free to set up account and get debit card. Accepted by Amazon. I have used it for 5 years without a problem.

Change it for a MasterCard or if you want to evade the yearly charge, get a Carrefour Pass card which is a MasterCard as well.

If you still have a UK address, you can apply for a Starling bank account. It is basically a sterling bank account (online and app only)  with a mastercard debit card and also then allows you to have a euro account for all Spanish spending at an exchange rate which is better than most you can get elsewhere -certainly better than the one provided by your normal bank. And no-I’m not an employee of the bank!

I opened my account alongside my main Nationwide account some years ago as it is better for tracking my expenditure. But once they started offering a euro account with a transfer rate at 0.4% above interbank rate, I realised this was a winner for me. Only problem is than only Unicaja seem to offer commission free withdrawals here

Perhaps vote with your feet and stop buying at Amazon. Bezos thinks he is more powerful than governments but you could get him out of space and back on the ground by shopping elsewhere?

I buy ebooks on Amazon with a debit card no problem. However, they are only one or two punds each! :)
