Hi all, thinking of buying a duplex in alfoquia but was wondering if there is a reason why so many are for sale ? Thanks in advance

There are quite a few duplexes for sale in the same area in La Alfoquia. In almost all cases the builder has gone bust ….. Not really a problem if considering buying one as long as you have a good solicitor. A Guardia Civil officer has bought 2 I understand with a view to re-letting them as they were cheap. It is really difficult to rent a property in La Alfoquia. There is one area near Heathers Bar which some locals say are not legal. Hope this helps.

The ayuntamiento will be able to confirm the status of any property you’re interested in.
View what you’re offered by agents, and then discover how many of them are illegal. Some agents are not too fussy…
