Moving to La Alfoquia soon

Hi Ann & Ash, welcome to La Alfoquia. Im sure you are disappointed with the weather but this is only a "glitch". My husband Tom and I moved here 4 years ago and in that time prayed for rain....or a change away from the scorching sun but it will be nice to get some rays again.   We run a bar & restaurant called The Heathers.  We open the bar daily from 1pm and the restaurant thursday to saturday 5pm until 9pm and then we do sunday lunch from 1pm until 5pm and hopefully we will get to meet you both personally.

Alfoquia is a lovely village with a nice mix of people - Spanish, English, Scottish, Welsh, Irish (we are), Belgian, Dutch etc.  There are many groups/activities going on.  There are some fabulous walks in the area and we are only 30 minutes or so from the beach.    Im sure you will settle in very quickly as people in general are very welcoming.

Thank you very much. We did call in yesterday for a quick coke whilst we were exploring the village. The bar looks very nice and I am sure we will be back.

If we are in Spain when you arrive, just pop round for a coffee or if you need any help, please don't hesitate to contact us.  We are currently back in the UK for a while, but would prefer to be in Spain.  La Alfoquia is a fabulous village, full of friendly people and there are so many places to visit in the surrounding areas. Heather's is our local, and Tom and Mary are fabulous!

We are come,n out 1st of march and will be looking at property in La Alfoquia as our first choice residence for our retirement place in the sun

 i have already had someone who stay in the town contact me he has given me loads of advice i cant thank him enough  ( thanks Dave ) lol. 

we hope to meet all you when we move out hopefully june approx  lol
