Panels only with feed back to the grid

Andy, can I ask who your feedback is with?

We (Vic) tried Fenie, but they just stalled for months, in the end they wanted us to discuss with the Junta in Almeria,  but couldn't say what we needed to discuss. Now with Factura, awaiting approval.

Hi, not necessarily but south facing panels will give you the best return as east / west facing panels are only some 70% efficient at best.  They can be fitted at ground level do a roof is not essential.

Hello Andy, you seem to be well informed,  can you tell if the power company pay back/credit for unused generated power!!.

We are near the end of process of buying our first property in Spain.  This is something I would be interested in installing on our property..

Many thanks for the advice.

Hi, they do indeed as you are credited with the power you do not use, sadly however they only go month by month so the credit does not roll over.  If you are totally ‘off grid’ (we are not) then use batteries and a stand by generator.  Good luck

Thanks for coming back to me,

That's a pity as we will not be there fulltime - six to eight times a year for a couple of weeks or so.

I will look firther into it when we get settled in.

Thanks again for the advice.

Hi,  try Ecocorps Solar.  There are a very professional ream, they will visit your property and advise on the number of panels required, will  upgrade your electricity supply to the house if needed and will do all the donkey work for you, licences, permits, etc etc.  Herein th...

...eir details.

Vic Underwood

Ecocorp Solar

Calle Vente Vacio

Parcela C1,

Bloque III,

Nave 9

Parque Industrial “El Real”

Antas  04628

Almeria

Tel 950 096 166

When and if you ask them for a quote let them know that it was I who recommended them.  We had 14 panels installed on a south facing roof providing 6.5 kilowatts for a cost of euro 7000, money well spent given the cost of electricity.

Best of luck

He quoted me a lot more than that for 5Kw.

What exactly did he quote you and where were the panels to be placed, there are so many variables, including what year the quote was made.  I can only tell you what we paid and can also tell you that we found Vic and his team to be highly professional throughout.  We have no regrets at all, apart that is for not installing the panels sooner.
