Hi there, can anyone tell me if you can still get an NIE number in baza?? And what hoops you have to jump through.....

You get an NIE upon purchase of a villa/home, no matter the area,  your conveyancer/solicitor gets you one during your transactions, you cant do any major purchases without one, be they cars, tv's etc. You can get one if youre renting too, it's just a bit more convoluted and involves your landlord giving proof if youve been renting.

That's not what I was asking sorry...I've got nie and residencia but my 11yr old has no nie and I'm looking to go for citizanship and he will need one... I wanted to know if you can still jusy go to baza and get one as I also did this for my niece but it was 5 yrs ago....😶🙄🤔

I doubt it, everything needs to go through Almeria now, I think. Best to consult with someone like CAT services, I reckon...

Ok but the original conversation on this issue was in English, and I thought most Dutch could speak English so why was there need to exclude the rest of us who carnt speak Dutch I think it's been a bit rude don't you agree ?

Must remember to carry a few different  dictionary's just in case someone decide to answer in Chinese instead, orJapanese or what ever.
