That’s great news Dario, and please don’t be too worried, you will be under no obligation to consume any of their products. I on the other hand will be one of the first in the queue. Now all we need is a McDonald’s and kfc for a full set. 🍔🍔🍟🍟🍗🍗

We're not obliged, but the next generation will all eat it, without obligation of course

It is a pity that you dream of such a fast food chain when the Spanish food is so delicious and the restaurants affordable. Quality food in comparison is this fast foot food (garbitche). But yes, to everyone's will.

Southern Europe has the lowest rates of cardiovascular disease in the world because of low or non-processing of food - fresh ingredients- and is in contrast to the typical North American diet whose effects are obvious even when masked by a capitalist approach to healthcare provision - people can't afford treatment so many don't get treated and end up in the stats

I don't live in HO anymore but would have avoided it in the 1st place if I'd seen Fast Food Chains..... their absence were what drew us to the town in the 1st place; because it didn't look like a sunny version of Birmingham, London or a shopping Joint or Motorway Services.

All this food is transported hundreds of miles from field to process, same again from process to Fry Joint, all in refrigerated shipping containers. Into dock, onto ship, off ship to dock, onto the next skeleton trailer for the next few hundred-mile leg

I've transported this stuff from UK, across the north sea to Poland and back, with a diesel-engined fridge unit revving its nuts off all the way even when waiting in the shunt yard for days

A voice of reason - I felt a little alone in the wilderness there.  Like you, having the nearest one-stop diabetes-shop some 45 minutes away in Lorca was one of the things I really liked about the area.

Those that are absolutely craving a Burger “king” instant blood-sugar boost-burger or Endocrine-pressure patty won’t take the warnings of addiction seriously - but the consumables (I can’t call them foods) are engineered through combination of salt-sugar-fat to create addiction … listen to people say “oh bollocks - I’m not addicted, I’m just craving a Burger King …”

“I’m just craving …” what is that then? that’s what they are engineered - yes engineered - to produce. A craving.

This post that was quoted has been deleted.

So … in an age where we should be looking forward to see what can be done to improve health, to improve quality of life, put less stress on public health systems with diabetes and other obesity related diseases, your justification for taking a step back is that it is in fact “progress”.  Right.  And the “young of Spain” are just as entitled to them …

So now that we’ve learnt more about childhood obesity and what causes it, the “young of Spain” are just as entitled to fill their face with this festering pustulence as others have previously … and yet you say our views are backwards?

This is not “progress” - it’s just another American owned fast “food” chain bringing dubious employment practices and crappy consumables.

Fear not Dario you are not alone I agree with you and Mb106429, its has always amazed me at what crap some people put in their mouths, From my point of view all these fast food places should be closed, they do nothing but harm to people (obesity)  and the environment, at a time when we are suppose to be saving the planet the ingredients for this food is travelling hundred of miles to reach its destination.

What selfish views we have on here. “I don’t want a fast food burger so no one else should have one either”.

I had deleted my post before I saw you replied.  I didnt say it was progress, where did you get that? Everyone knows it’s unhealthy !      I deleted it because you are all arguing about something that, 1, You can do Nothing about and 2, What difference does it make to Your  lives?  What does it even Matter  What the Building is anyway ? I really would like an answer to that one please.         It never ceases to amaze me what you all get your knickers in a twist about .  As I said, Outer Mongolia doesn’t have a Mcdonald’s or a Burger King,   The End of the World is Nigh , Ronald’s coming lol.
