I am a bit confused over the 90 day rule.Am coming out from UK 13th June to 13th July, then I want to visit again end September, beginning of October for 3 weeks.I wont then be visiting until next Spring. After returning home to UK 13th July,do I have to wait 90 days before I can fly out to Spain again,or would this only apply if I had stayed in Spain for 90 days June/July?

I previously thought I would have to wait 90 days before returning to Spain, but now I am not too sure.Any advice very welcome.

It’s 90 days in a rolling 180, there are online Schengen calculators if you need them

Put you entry and leave dates into this calculator and it will confirm how many day you have left out of the allowed 90 in 180...

What is the Schengen 90/180 rule? Under the terms of Schengen, non-EEA nationals cannot spend more than a total of 90 days within a total period of 180 days without a visa. Furthermore, once you've used up your quota of 90 days, you cannot return to Schengen until 90 more days have passed….. cheers Paul.
