I had a conversation with my boss yesterday, about what would happen with reguard to funerals whilst we are in lockdown... in brief this is what he told me....
If a person passes away from the Covid 19 Virus, they are collected and sent directly for cremation/Burial, no-one can see them and no ceremony is performed, we collect in full protection as to protect our guys and everything is sterelised after.
If a person passes away through natural causes or nothing to do with the Virus, a funeral can be performed as normal, however with limited number of persons in attendance, approx 10, close family prefered, but again as no close contact can be made, all coffins will be closed, but yes a ceremony can be performed in out Tanatorios.
Also just been asked on one of the Forums if the government pay for your funeral should you pass away through the Covid 19... the answer is no....
