Hi all

Was wondering if anyone knows where I could take my dog swimming,  as she loved it in the UK,  but not sure if there is anywhere to go in Huercal overa  or surrounding areas.

Thanks everyone.

Hi Marian

The only official dog beach at this time of the year is between Aguilas and San Juan de los Terreros, called Cala Mijo.

Hi. Do you know about off season? Are more available for dog walkers? Thanks

Dogs are allowed from Nov 1st up to the end of March.

Many people take no notice but at 8.30am last week I saw the Guardia were on the beach in Mojacar stopping a couple with two big dogs. It's quite a hefty fine!

Hi I'm now a bit confused, as I thought  you said dogs were allowed on cala mijo at this time of year, as I do know most beaches have an off season. But can you take them to mojacar after the 1st Nivember , just out of interest.?

Sorry Marian!

All year round Cala Mijo and yes, from November Mojacar is fine.
