Hi we have always used Al Andalus car hire you pay exactly what you're quoted with no hidden charges. Dave Baxter is the person to speak to. Cars are always new and mainly Seats.

Ive hired cars from Murcia three times now. And luckily have avoided any issues. But you need to be obsessive to avoid parking near other cars to avoid even the tiniest of nicks or scratches.

The up front hire charge looks great but they will ask for a huge down payment which will be refunded if there's no issues, Plus they charge for fuel which will feel like they rip you off a little with too. But its not too bad in reality. When refilling make sure you brim the tank and over fill- so the needle remains at full by the time you hand the car back.

My tip, when collecting the car, is to take photographs and video using your phone of the exterior of the car and the odometer (mileage). It may have no effect, but I like to think it demonstrates to them youre making a record when you get the car and do the same when you drop it off. Often you will drop the car off to an unattended parking space.

Whilst driving the car always have your passport and car hire papers and driving license. Not yet been stopped but think the police can get difficult if there's anything wrong.

Subjectively Ive found driving in Spain very easy. Although there's one type of junction Ive met (hard to describe) that has me baffled. I try to close my eyes if I'm driving alone or follow another car if ones there to follow. Its like a round about but isn't, and has an additional route through it- but the lines on the road are invariably faded. But with that one exception I think Spains easier to drive than any other country Ive been in (England, USA, Netherlands, Poland, Germany, Spain, Egypt)
