My wife and I are looking to rent a property for a month between September/October. Flexible with price for a 2 bed apartment, and we are looking to be close to amenities and public transport. Hoping to relocate next year so need a base to explore the locality. Any help or advice would be appreciated.

If you are just looking around, then the mobile home site at Miraflores might be able to help...... you will need a car to look around so the fact it is near Los gallardos, about 10 mins from Garrucha it should not matter. There is a Consum on site, bar and restaurant..... might suit for looking about.... phone the office there.
I rented in Garrucha for approx 15 months and used ZAR in Garrucha. Alphonso and Jose are extremely helpful and approachable and found me a fantastic apartment on the sea front inbetween 2 bus stops. I could travel to Vera in one direction or Mojacar Playa or Pueblo in the other. I would highly recommend them.
