Ye . It’s only one’s point of view. After all it’s a free country and therefore have a free say in topics of interest. After all that’s what a forum is for. Do not get so wound up friends. Relax and have a good evening!

Icelands' products are imported for the British taste so - be reasonable - they have higher costs than other outlets. Its good to support Iceland because it is a haven for british products and once gone its gone forever. But for the majority of the weekly shop you can get them at other stores around the area. The supermarket round the corner through the car park is very good value for example.

We go in for Quorn mince/ chunks and a few other veggie items because you can't get them anywhere else! Other than that we buy cheaper elsewhere! A lot of the other items are Waitrose products which of course are the most expensive supermarket in the UK without the cost of bringing the stuff out here......(Oh yes they do have veggie wine as well!)

SuperTurre in Turre do a lot of English products.  We tend to get the little things we enjoy from there, rather than Icelands; e.g. Yorkshire Breakfast Tea, Tetleys tea and Coleman’s Hot English Mustard.
