We feel unsafe now shopping in Garrucha Mercadona since there are many tourists who are refusing to comply with the staff's requests to wear masks and gloves. They need security officers to strictly enforce the rules. Is there any way this message can get to the senior management before the number of viral infections rocket?

Wait untill we gett the plans full off people arriving from the UK not many of them will be used to wearing masks, a lot with think they know better and won't wear them,

Things must have changed drastically in Mercadona Garrucha! We have been here the whole of lockdown, and have found it well organised and following all CV guidelines. In fact Garrucha as a whole have been brilliant, we even got our free masks. The beaches in Vera Playa are clean and well organised, with security in abundance to keep us safe!! Love the place.

Everything was good until the arrival of tourists. They entered in numbers, no masks, gloves or social distancing , and the first cashier (who normally sees that customers adopt the necessary procedures) tried to get them to comply but just got waved at.

The idiots that went to the beaches are a minority people like myself were appauled at the scenes we saw, I never leave my house without a mask, please do not think all in the UK are like these idiots,

I am coming out to my 2nd home in 2 weeks and driving so not to mix at the airport. It really is the minority of the U.K. that are flocking to the beaches. Most of us have been home for the last 3 months and if not having our shopping delivered or click and collect are wearing mask and gloves in the supermarkets
At least it couldn’t have been British “tourists” ignoring safety precautions in Garrucha Mercadona as no-one can enter the country until July!! Must have been residents?
