Hi
Does anybody know where there is a fully accessible swimming pool in Garrucha
Even better would be accommodation by the beach no stairs and accessible facilities/pool
Person has limited mobility
All advice appreciated

So far as i know there is no public swimming pool in Garrucha and most of the hotels (there are not that many) are on the sea front and maybe there are apartments to let with a lift on the sea front. All the beach entrances have access for people with limited mobility. Garrucha is essentially a fishing town with no high rise hotels. Further towards las Buganvillas past Mercadona there is the Tikar hotel with a swimming pool and also Manolo hostal which has rooms on the ground floor, they too have a pool. Hope this helps.

A friend told us that the public swimming pool in Vera has full facilities for disabled people & that the staff were very helpful.

Hi Gilly, the Tikar Hotel is nice and friendly with a lift to floors above. The garden out and swimming pool area are all flat. Go along and have a drink there, they have their own wine shop.The couple who own it are lovely, so friendly and welcoming.
