Hi Kirsty. Mercadona in Mojacar deliver but they certainly wouldn't deliver as far out as you. Your nearest Mercadona is probably Albox but I've never seen Mercadona delivery vehicles in that area so I don't know. If you're going to live somewhere like Los Cerricos I think you're going to have to expect driving pretty much everywhere. There's no local public transport and you'll only find small shops, if any, in the villages. Some places do get vans coming round. We're in Arboleas and have a bread van, veggie van and butane gas van.

, Dont believe a word these exhibitions tell you they will say anything to get a sale. Juliet is correct in saying that Mercadona do home delivery but only to the local town, and even then its not like the UK, you have to go to the store and do your shopping and place it in a special bag, then this bag is delivered to you at home. they dont do the actually shopping for you like the UK. Hope this helps your decision.

We are in El Contador. There is definitely a mobile supermarket which comes around as it is due here tomorrow. I also believe that the Coviran supermarket in Chirivel deliver. I’ll message you tomorrow when I find out for sure which mobile is coming round.

That would be great if you could let me know the village is los cerricos that we are looking at buying 

Wow, we live between El Contador & Los Cerricos, and I didn't know about a mobile shop in the area, mind you, in our little village there are only three families, so he my not want to bother, plus we've got used to going into town and stocking up anyway.

Kirsty, we find going shopping can be an event, we decide what we want and make a morning of it, stocking up, plus the Chirivel market is not only a good place to buy your supplies, you'll meet up with people to exchange stories & aspects of interest (gossip), a sort of social event.
