Is fibre available in Los Carrascos? We are looking at moving mid to late October. The current owners use Rednet, but I know nothing on them re how reliable, speeds, etc etc. We currently use Digi where we currently are. Any info back much appreciated.

Don't know if fibre is available to you, we don't have it yet, but I use Sistel which I'm happy with.

Over here in Arboleas I contacted Sistel to visit my home for information on installing their system.  They popped over the next day and we agreed on a date the following Monday to install it. You guessed it, they failed to appear! Not even a phone call and I never chase businesses whern they give poor service.....On the following Wednesday I saw their van parked up "down the road"...angrily I asked them why they didn´t come to my home to install the system 2 days ago but they just said we´ll come later...I said no, you have lost a potential customer.

I then contacted "Telecomunicaciones Valle Del Almanzora in Albox....excellent service...all connected and working three days later.

Contact Veronica on Ramon y Cajal 23.....

Further to my earlier reply I suggest you email Veronica with your location details. She will be able to assist, her email...

..."[email protected]"......their office is a five minute walk from the main statue in Albox center.

Horses for courses. We arrived to Los Garcias in March this year. Phoned Sistel and they came out same day.

Not on fibre just yet but it's coming. The fibre is all laid , that's what they've told me, it's just waiting for the optical boxes to be installed.

For€20 can't complain. Speed ok, possibly not as good as when first installed. I'm not going to make a song and dance at this price that's for sure.

I just moved here last Friday. Had arranged with Sistel approximately two weeks before hand to come the same day. They turned up on time, carried out the work then cleaned up.

Contacted them on recommendation of several people and, as Midget76 says, at 20€ a month it’s a bargain.

Thank you for your response.....yes, compared to the UK 20 euros a month is great value. That amount of 20 euros per month appears to be the same for all the local suppliers, though there is one company advertising on Spectrum whose cost is 15 euros.
