I agree Angela Morales in Mojacar. Very professional, efficient and speaks perfect English.

Hi, I can totally recommend Paula Similie, we have just completed on a property in Huercal Overa and her honesty, standards and attention to detail is 100%, she has probably saved me a fortune in outstanding debts on the property which was not revealed by the Property Agent when we put down the deposit. She is a little different from other Lawyers that I have dealt with, she makes everything easy and very comfortable, she takes the process in hand and acts like it is herself buying the property, which made us feel very assured, she speaks only for the client, she is not out to just get a commission. PM me if you want her details.

Hello
Well, blaming brexit amongst other issues, covid meant that we couldn’t visit for 3 years.
One of the other issues are the rising cost of living over here-we have a mortgage here too!
We did live in Spain when we first bought but returned and always planned to use us as a holiday home and then come back in our retirement. However it’s proving to be a very expensive holiday home that we can only visit for limited periods due to work and it’s unlikely that we will have the funds to retire in Spain.
Hence the sad decision to sell.
Thanks for all the replies

Another suggestion is:
Paloma Moreno-Torres
Abogada/Solicitor
C/ Villar, n 6, bajo C,
04620 Vera (Almería)
This is in the centre of Vera with plenty of street parking nearby.
She and her colleagues are excellent in my experience (I am a lawyer in the UK, so am used to client demands...) and they speak perfect English. They regularly applied to emails late in the evening and were very helpful with related matters eg opening bank accounts, liaising with the others involved in our purchase, dealing with the tax authorities, getting the NIE etc
