Driving out of Spain during State of Alert - Page 2

According to Brittany Ferries website today only the following Portsmouth/Santanderhave been cancelled some are still running. 

PORTSMOUTH TO SANTANDER / SANTANDER TO PORTSMOUTH

The following services, operated by Pont-Aven, have been cancelled.

• 17/03/20 Portsmouth to Santander 17:15
• 23/03/20 Santander to Portsmouth 15:15
• 24/03/20 Portsmouth to Santander 17:15
• 30/03/20 Santander to Portsmouth 15:15
• 31/03/20 Portsmouth to Santander 17:15
• 06/04/20 Santander to Portsmouth 15:15
• 07/04/20 Portsmouth to Santander 17:15

The problem is it is no good waiting for the transport companies, by air or ferry, to give you information on cancellations in time. You may have already left your homes in Spain and not be able to access this info.

I was actually e-mailled by Jet2 the night before I was supposed to fly from the U.K. to Alicante to say that the flight was cancelled and friends had already booked into a hotel in the U.K. the night before their planned flight. 

So please check out as much as you can and don’t wait for companies to tell you.
