The beams themselves we have tried insecextacides ferreteria recommended spraying with diesel all of these have had no effect on the blighters everytime we go out we have sawdust everywhere is there anyone knows of what will work I do have a video of the things and damage they are doing we don’t live there at present sorry we are desperate to find a way of stopping these pests before they do any further damage .

Get somebody to buy that creosote asap (and get enough of it) as it might not be available shortly. Once again the I-love-the-insects brigade are getting their way.

How dare they, cheeky buggers, with all the empty land in Spain you would think that they don't need to invade our homes.

One would think that theres a conspiracy or somesuch for world domination 😨😨

Yes, to second Mattew (not that he needs it)

You may want to get on it ASAP. Can you try and find someone to do it for you local handyman  somesuch?

When you get here in november you can start to fill the holes they have created and cresote the wood again

You can contact Wood2Go directly as for the purcahse and see if they can ship to La Alfoquia. They do not have it on thier website but I did buy mine there.

The cresote is very watery and is easy to apply so a 5 or 10 litter bottle will go a long way.

Keep in mind it also needs to be done every year depending on the amount of rain the wood is exsposed to.

Yes typical euro beurocacy. Banned our favourite go to for shed and fence treatment to be replaced by a dearer weaker alternative . Been an old farmer boy l stockpiled gallons of the lovely stuff . Another advantage of brexit , we still can’t get it 😂

Try adding old engine oil to it, thickens it and lasts a lot longer!!
