1. The minute you hit the UK HM Customs will make an executive decision regarding your "import" liability. This may or may not work in your favour.

2. Alternately, you could take a ferry directly to Rep of Ireland (through Santander) on which the Irish Customs will have as much interest in your stuff as they have in Applied Chemistry.

3. After you arrive in Rep of Ireland you can take a ferry to the UK from Rosslare or Dublin and likely have HM Customs wave you through.

4. Depending on where you live on the UK mainland, a journey through Northern Ireland could be worthwhile.

We are also relocating. As far as I can gather you need a TOR1 form which you download in line, this states what your taking, then you Need an address where you will be staying in the uk, and you have to show proof of this. In short, it’s a right load of ……. But it has to be done. If your having a removal company they will do this for you but you can do it yourself . Hope this helps also look on gov.com  website it’s got loads of information. Good luck

Don't blame the Spanish; they didn't vote for Brexit. The Spaniards don't care what you are bringing to the UK, It's the UK Customs who care of what you are bringing in.

Who said anything about winning? The UK is losing and will continue to lose as a result of Brexit, but it will have the odd "win" along the way. It's not too far away when some of the Brexiteers will be wearing white hoods with pointed hats. That'll be some "win" - And it ain't too far away and won't be confined to a match at Elland Road on a Sunday afternoon either.

You’re moving back to UK - what’s Spain got to do with it?  Any company that does international removals is going to be up on the paperwork required.
