As i have been told that when i re-locate i will have to take driving lessons&a test to drive in Spain(not what i really want to do) can anyone tell me if you need a licence to drive a scooter(may be an option to get around otherwise be an electric bike).
Licence rules also apply to a scooter I’m afraid. Maybe in the future things will revert back to the old way of exchanging your licence as there will no doubt be a lot of people in the same situation. 🤞

Hi do do you have to take lessons&a test to drive a scooter?. Its a difficult situation like you say unless you move right near all amenities hence can manage without a vehicle but if live slightly inland would need some sort of transport. I just dont fancy taking driving lessons(more cost) then a test as i have never been spain hence cant speak the language and be a struggle to potentially learn enough to understand the spanish instructor. Bit of a predicament for a lot of people i guess&will put lot of people of moving. Cant fit much shopping on a bicycle🤣

our French neighbours have electric bikes with a trailor on one which they use to go shopping when they are here. To ride a Scooter you must have a Spanish licence if you are a resident so that will not be something you can have.
looks like you only option will be an electric bike they are very popular here now, not much public transport available in Albox.
