My letter dated May 2018 (AND the S1) are both from Kathleen Huntley, EU Claims Adviser, of the Overseas Healthcare Team, Dept for Work and Pensions, Durham House, Washington, Tyne and Wear. NE38 7SF

The S1 is a standard EU form. The S1 letter is headed Department for Work and Pensions. If your letter is of more recent date and came from the NHS maybe there has been a system change.

It has changed and I was trying to provide the most up to date info. We applied for the S1 last month and it was the NHS who we needed to contact. They were also very efficient and we had the electronic version of the form within a week. 

The DWP will provide a pension statement but by letter not electronic version as of December 2019. Unless that’s changed in the last 7 weeks.
