Hi. Believe we need private health care to become resident in Spain, any suggestions for best company: blood pressure/cholesterol problems and psoriasis in family unit.
I may have contracted work and been told once paying tax in Spain family can get health care too, free is that correct

My belief would be that once legally employed then monies are withheld from your salary such.that you are eligible for Healthcare & Pension in Spain. However if you are working illegally on the 'black economy ' / cash in hand then you will need to.take out Private Healthcare. IF you go back a.number of posts or SEARCH SUBJECTS, then you will find up to date info from DarioMartin and others.
Best of luck and FYI if you come to Spain with/ on medication, you can purchase an immense range OTC at any Pharmacy. Just present box/ tube/strip/ container & pharmacist will assist.
