Anyone able to throw any light on how you get your mail in Los Higuerales?  Is there a postbox where your post is left or do you need to make arrangements to have a PO Box? 

On another subject any recommendations for Broadband.  Im assuming no fibre in Los Higuerales so would need WifiMax.  Any ideas of the types of speeds to expect in the area?  Are there any providers that include UKTV?

We will look to have a poolside bar built, a wooden construction.

2 questions: would we need to get local permission for that? 

And, does anyone know of a local person who builds these? A company or lone trader, as long as the workmanship is top notch.

Hello. We fly into Almeria on 5th April and move to Calle Estrella del Mar on 6th April.

We need to pick up a car from the airport and rent it for about 4 weeks. Ideally we don't want to have to drive to the airport again to drop it off.

Any ideas? Advise?

We move into Calle Estrella del Mar on 6th April.

We have a 92 year old with us who currently has a leg ulcer that needs dressing at least once a week. Also we need to all register with a Doctor. 

We do not speak Spanish but will of course learn. Which is the best medical center and will we have a problem with not speaking Spanish?

Hi on a recent trip to view properties to buy we noticed nobody had an outdoor barbecue ! Do people not have barbecues or do you put them away for winter and not have permanent barbecues!
