We are hoping to move to Spain in Sept. We like the look of Los Higuerales.  Are there many British Expats living there? Is there much to do there? Thanks

Hi Debs, Los Higs as we lovingly call it is beautiful. At the moment Almond trees all in bloom.

It is very quiet, 15 - 20 minuets drive into Albox or Arboleas, 40 mins from Mojacar.

There are no shops or bars, corner shop (English) is about 15 mins away,

We have a mixed community, Belgian,  French, few German , Spanish but mostly ex pats.

It is a very friendly village, everyone ready to help in a crisis.I would suggest you come and visit and stay for a couple of weeks to see if you like the tranquility of Los higs. Please feel free to pm if you want to know anymore. Regards Jan
