Hi, my husband and I are due to take over a long term rental in valle de este resort on 9.08.21.we are flying into Alicante airport. Unfortunately my husband's driving licence is still with the DVLA and will not be returned in time therefore we cannot hire a car. Are there any recommendations for transfers from the airport, either private or a company. Advice would be appreciated.

Sure, Exclusive Airport Transfers do a shuttle bus from Alicante to Various places in Almeria. You can look online and even book.

Sorry just noticed,not sure if they drop at valle de este but they go to the paint shop at Las Buganvillas and then you can get a local taxi as its only up the road.

Try reading this it may be of some use,it will depend on the hire company but the 'big boys' like hertz/europacar may be the bet

You can get a copy of licence on line to share details for hiring purposes etc
