Just arrived in Vera Playa a week ago on a NLV, now I need to get on the Padron. Has anybody got any advice on the best way to do this at what paperwork is needed.......thanks

Yep - wrote a topic on doing just this.  I’ll go find it and edit this post with a link to it

EDIT: as promised.  In Vera you CAN apply for Padrón completely online - I know, I’ve done it twice now

Go up to the town hall, walk in and make an appointment.  Don't worry if you can't speak Spanish, they are used to it. Go to your appointment armed with as much info as you can carry! They do love their paperwork. NIE, House details that you got from your solicitor/Notaire and passports.

Punch your appointment number in to the machine, when it comes up on the screen, walk in, there are a couple of very nice guys that will sort it out for you.

You will need another appointment in a few days to collect your official document (a bit of paper).

If you need another bit of paper later on, some places like the visa office, will only accept if the date is within 3 months, do it again, but just armed with the padron you have and passport.
