Flys
Any advice on what’s best for flys
Being troubled by lots of flys every time we step outside in our garden .
Just wondering if there is anything we can do to reduce then 🤔

Very helpful member
Well now if I had the answer to that I would be a millionaire 🤑
If you live in the campo, near a pig farm, you are going to be worse than at the coast.
On saying that we think the flies have been worse this year, maybe something to do with stagnant water in pools during lockdown when owners couldn’t return.
Since the spraying took place though they have decreased, a little.
I’m sorry I don’t have a tried and tested solution.
Hi. Well you can go onto ebay or amazon and buy the Red Top fly catcher, And trust me they work. They tend to smell abit but not too bad as long as they are not too close to the house.

It is a fact of life in Spain, flies can be worse some areas than others. I live in the campo and yes they are around from about March /April onwards until it gets cooler. Have also been to coastal areas and they can be a pain too. Red top does a good job but will not eliminate the problem, if you want to sit outside you really need a fly screen to be free of the pesky things. Have a friend who lives high up on a mountain and still they are annoying, hence fly screen enclosure.
Evening time they do disappear.
