Looking for a job: Cable layer

Hi . We are coming to velez rubio shortly but my husband is staying behind in England to finish off a contract in Scotland . He's always worked and doesn't want to be doing nothing when he's there . He's a cable layer for an electricity company here in England . Would there be jobs available similar for him or would it be difficult to find this type of work ? I really don't want to be over there for too long on my own .
