Coronavirus Vaccine - how to register

There have been messages recently (both on and off this forum) from people who are not yet vaccinated against coronavirus, and would like to be, but are in the private health system and don't know how to go about getting a vaccine in Spain.
Private health providers are not involved in the vaccination process. If you are not yet vaccinated, and are not on the state health scheme, then you must first apply to join the health service database as private health user. To do that (if you are in Andalucia) you need to go here:
Fill in the form, and take it to your local health centre. We needed to show them our up to date padron too (i.e. issued within the last 3 months), and provide them with a Spanish mobile phone number on which they could text us.
The process is not that scary, and certainly less scary than not being vaccinated. There are different requirements in other autonomous regions, for which I would suggest as a start point trying COVID-19 vaccines if you live in Spain but are not registered for public healthcare
