Hearing aids

You'll get a free test in multi opticas in garrucha but the aids themselves will be around 1500-2000 each.  Very expensive in Spain.  I had to send to hearing direct in uk for mine, i was seeing the audiologist in the hospital at the time so i had all my readings.  Hearing Direct programmed the aids to suit the readings.  Cost me £200 each!  Am still using the same ones 4yrs on.  I could do with another test and the hospital visits are finished so i dont know whether i can get free tests without obligation here.  May try in the winter.  Good luck.   There is another company called Gaes in Vera but i believe they are even more expensive, but that is onmy heresay.

Agreed!   Hearing aids are not free to anyone in Spain unless the social services are involved and your case is deemed special.
