We have lived in El Pinar for 22 years. If you enjoy living in the countryside as we do and living with nature as in the wildlife all around you, the sound of birds, ibex walking around the village. Perfect weather. Ideal for us.

Where would your closest supermarket be? Also, which airport would you use to fly in to the UK?

Thanks

There are no buses to El Pinar.

We can get deliveries from 2 small supermarkets in Los Gallardos. 2 small supermarkets in Bedar also do home deliveries. They have all been really helpful in these Covid times.

The gas man delivers once a week on request.

Logs delivered when required.

If you want larger supermarkets, Mercadona is in Mojacar, Vera, Garrucha.

Almeria Airport is 45 mins drive. Alicante 2 and a half hours, Malaga 3 hours. Murcia around 1 and a half hours.

There is a bar in the village but restricted opening times due to covid. The same in Bedar, only 2 bars of 4 open at the moment.

We had fibre optics installed in the village this year.

Ok thanks.

From what I can see, very few airlines fly to Almeria airport. Lots to Alicante and Malaga and a few to Murcia.

The reason I ask is that my daughters works in Berlin and it seems she has no chance of flying into a closer airport (when Covid clears ). My other daughters closest airport would be Luton. So it's a minimum 4 hour round trip to collect someone at Alicante airport

There is a shuttle bus service from Almeria Murcia and Alicante. Ask Google.
