Were they definitely Guardia.Sounds very odd.Did they ask for money.I would have asked for their ID. It works both ways

Definitely Guardia! They entered ouPassport numbers into a device and then let us go.
My god, they say they’re trying to make the Guadia Civil more approachable and understanding, but it looks like they’re still in the Franco era!! Appalling how they have one rule for the Spanish and another one for Foreigners! Could you imagine this treatment in the Uk??

The GuardiaCivil act on fear nd intimidation.They are more than aware the British don't understand the legislation and they use that to their advantage.
I've seen first hand in the Uk what the Police can be like,and how they mistreat individuals ,having been a defence Solicitor for thirty years.
