All fiestas in this country have lots of big bangs, not necessarily fireworks, just lots of noise! Either at the beginning, middle or end of a fiesta, depends where you are...

Sorbas isn't too bad for that though

there won't be any fireworks or fiestas for a long time but when this virus is defeated they will certainly celebrate with lots of the bangers they love to let off at every party.

This all depends where you live as I´m in the municipality of Sorbas but rarely hear anything from Sorbas during their fiestas.  However, the small outlying villages  around me also have fiestas and rockets going off, partly to announce to anyone who might have forgotten that there is a fiesta about to start (or end).  My neighbour sends her dog to the kennels for a night or two when the village closest to us celebrates a fiesta and books up in advance every year as it´s in August.  I have a dog and he stays at home in the house with the telly on, windows shut and fan on full blast.  I do feel sorry for pets in cities like Valencia during fiestas when fireworks go off all the time and I would certainly take my dog or cat away from anything like that kind of racket, if I lived somewhere like that.  Anyway, don´t worry too much, my dog is always fine when I get home if I go to the fiesta and it is most unlikely there there will be fiestas this year anyway.
