Becs, Like Matthew I'm slightly biased as live only 15 mins from the playa. I would suggest you plan on going first to RDM for a week then come on up to the Mojacar area for say 2 weeks. If you like Mojacar extend your time for the next week. If not suitable go back to RDM - we wouldn't be offended if you did . ;-) enjoy wherever....
