Transfer wise now does a borderless account, attached is a mastercard debit card. It might be worth looking at. Exchange rate is always good and fees are low and transparent.

Get a revolut card -you can have a sterling and a euro account on the same card and swap money between accounts and get the full exchange at the time of writing their rate is €1.19
Have a Santander account in uk can withdraw free from Santander es machine get best bank rate on the day and you don't need to carry loads of money around with you x
