Hi All, Considering buying in the Mar de Pulpi / Mundo Aguilon Golf Area. Is there anyone that can please tell me of any pros or cons to moving into this area.

Any feedback will be much appreciated.

Kind regards.

I play at Aguilon golf each week, one of the best courses around. If buying on-site at Aguilon it must be carefully considered due to the lack of shops nearby, and distance to nearest town. Mar de Pulpi is very popular, both there and in San Juan it can get particularly busy in summer months. There are plenty of facilities in the area, a wealth of restaurants to choose from, and great beaches. Lively place, weekly markets. Clean and by all accounts a nice place to live. Have been to Lucero restaurant, it is lovely there and along the promenade.

Take a look at Los Lobos too.  Just a short drive away and a bit cheaper and get more for your money.  Lots of friendly English speakers and several bars and a good restaurant all within walking distance..

Hi

It very much depends on what you are expecting from your property. As others have said the golf course is exactly that and no shops etc. If you just want to come out and have a holiday playing golf it's ideal!

Mar de Pulpí is a large (and increasing at speed) urbanisation with good facilities and if just for holidays perfect to lock up and leave.

San J DLT is a Spanish holiday destination and is very busy for 3 months. It has, in my opinion the best and safest beaches around here. In the winter it still has cafés and restaurants open, also Aguilas is a short drive away with much going on.

We live permanently in the village of Jaravia where you would drive past to get to Aguilon golf. If you want to message me I'm happy to sing the praises of this area!

Anna

PS You also need to consider the best option for resale.

Hi Caroline. Thanks for your reply. We are going to view properties in Mar de Pulpi and Aguilon Golf Urbanisation this coming week. To your knowledge are there any structural problems on Aguilon or any of the phases in Mar de Pulpi. For example subsidence issues etc. Do you feel that the area is safe at any time of the day or night? This would be of great help to us.

Kind regards

The area is lovely with so much to see locally. Have fun with the viewings.  Look at community fees and upkeep of buildings.  I love the area.
