Hi how do i know when my ITV is due ? I have an orange sticker on my windscreen it says march 18 i recently paid vehicle tax at the town hall is this road tax i have not received a new sticker im worried im not complying !!! Please advise TIA x
The ITV is the Spanish equivalent of the MOT & the Road Tax is the UK Road Fund License. So 2 different entities. We always have the ITV on our vehicles 1-2 weeks before the due date in case we need to have faults rectified.
You need to book an apt for your ITV at whatever ITV Centre but can do on line although we prefer to do when passing.
If a fault then you have to return to the same Centre for retest.
Best Wishes & Happy Easter.

And make it the first thing you do on mondaymorning. Riding with an not up-to-date ITV can cost you quite a lot of money. And from now it is easy to see that your vehicle isn´t up-to-date!
I think it's a 300 Euro fine but 150€ if you pay within 20 days. Understand what you mean about first thing Monday but have you noticed how the Police love first thing in the morning to wait at roundabouts?????? If you can book on line then you have an appointment to show. If you go back a dozen or more posts then you will find a detailed account by a fellow poster of how to book on line.
We are sometimes away for a year or more at a time and gratefully have never had a problem. The ITV staff don't care it's just the Police and poss your Insurance Company.
Best Wishes
Bob and Sandra

Your totally right Bob. Early in the morning the love to write fines. And anyway, it will be easier to make a previous appointment. You can do here: https://www.itvcita.com

Thank you for replying where do i get the ITV from and how much is it please
Thanks
You go to any ITV station. If you go on Google Search & put in ITV Pulpi up it will come. Not sure if you can translate to English. No idea about Pulpi but ours at Puerto Lumbreras is really user friendly. Could a friendly neighbour not accompany you?????
Bob and Sandra
Ok thanks Bob i will google it no english neighbours here at the moment
Probably de ITV in Vera will be the closest.
As I said, you can make an appointment online at: https://www.itvcita.com It is in spanish, so if you have nobody to help you, you might try to go directly to the station.
It definitely would be helpful if you have someone that can help you translate, but there are so many english around Vera, that it might be probable that someone at the station can speak english, or you might meet someone there that can help you.
