hi, very general question, i've checked weather sites and everywhere looks pretty much the same. So i'm chancing the good old reliable" word on the street." for my definitive answer?Does the winter weather change  much if you travel inland  from the coast eg from mojacar to blanca,  or  upwards eg mojacar to torrevieja? . i know everything is relevant and one persons warm is some one else's arctic so i'm assuming mojacar is 20ish in feb. Thanks

Inland yes up the coast not so much.

If you were to travel inland from Mojacar towards velez blanco you would find the winters much colder and possibly the summers hotter.

Hope that helps.

Not worth writing it off though. There are some stunning views to be had in the velez blanco / Rubio areas so it may be worth renting up there to see if the winters are a problem for you? Trouble with Mojacar is it can get gridlocked during the summers although it too is lovely.

Worth a trip or two out to look at different areas. Try www.almeriahomes.com which are based in Albox.

Hope that helps
