Places of interest

Hi
My daughter and her husband are coming to stay with us in Mojacar for a week, and was wondering if there is anywhere not too far away, that would be of interest.

Nijar is a nice place for a visit there is a cactus garden place and a butterfly place. The high Street has lots of pottery shops. Aguilas is also not far away and has a castle a railway museum and a carnival costume museum plus the cathedral square and marina.

Hi Linda,
If you are not driving, consider a bus into Gurrucha (route 2 green bus). Depending when they will be over, there are some boat trips from the marina. I believe one us a glass bottomed boat, so chance to see under the sea. 😀
