New Club opening in the Mojacar arrea
Come And Look At What I Made – the brand new Club for people who want to learn more about the work of local artisans in and around the Costa Almeria of Spain launches this month in Mojacar.
The Club evolved from a conversation about hobbies; Jo is a serial quilter and Kim is a talented and innovative crocheter but they discovered that both are interested in learning new skills that could enrich their lives. Jo and Kim both live in the Costa Almeria, an area that is rich in artisans who produce beautiful and useful things, as well as delicious wines, oils and local foodstuffs, so this was the jumping off point for the new venture.
The Club is here for you to learn more about the myriad of crafts that go on around us all in the wonderful area that we live in. Come and watch the demonstrations, join Jo and Kim on the organised visits and sign up for the classes that some of the artisans are giving. Enrich your lives with new experiences, be amazed by the skills demonstrated by artisans who live near you and perhaps become one yourself. All this and a new circle of friends too!
Most of our demonstrations will be FREE OF CHARGE to our Members but if a cost is incurred, you will be informed when the outing or demonstration is announced on the CALAWIM website.
