In the UK there are several firms offering emergency assistance alarms for elderly and vulnerable. They are installed as a matter of routine in sheltered accommodation but I know that there are others for general use. They are valuable for summoning assistance after an accident or fall but also when something happens and you do not know what to do.
Does anyone know of anything similar in this area?
I am sure I have read that the Red cross do one. At the moment some banks are trying to sell them to you at a monthly cost (which is v v expensive), and I am sure that someone mentioned that you can get them much cheaper via the Red cross. Worth asking the question.
