Does anyone know if there is a Ear Nose and Throat department at Huercal Overa Hospital? I wear hearing aids and need my ears vacuumed every few months. Also be useful to know which building it is in.

Thanks in advance for any info.

I believe that you will not be able to just go into a department here you will need a referral from a doctor first.

You will need a referral from a doctor, but the Otorinolaringología at Huércal-Overa is absolutely excellent.  My wife has malformed Eustachian tubes and has had a double Timpanoplasty so needs the services of an ENT.  When you go for your appointment, you are generally in within 10 minutes of given appointment time and the Doctors are fabulous.

I agree about the department.  Excellent.  But have never heard of them vacuuming your ears.  I too wear hearing aids and since the health centre stopped syringing i have used a liquid called Otocerum which you use for 2 or 3 days and it disolves the wax so that when i syringe  them myself there is very little wax to come out.  I have only heard of people having the 'suction' privately.  Maybe I'm wrong?  Am sure someone will correct me if i am!!!

I had an appointment for a revision in August last year which was cancelled due to the virus. I am still waiting to see the specialist so you coild be waiting some time.
