I need to give my daughter more information about schools in the area. She is 16 and has done her GCSES. I found a school in Mojacar that I thought would be ok but the A-Level choice was very limited and she said no. She wants to study Law and Criminology A Level but I am struggling to find these choices in the schools mainly as their websites are in Spanish. Is she too young to start Uni even though she has completed her GSCES as I know Spain has a slightly different education system? She could do online A levels but it means she wouldn’t get to meet people.
Any help on this would be much appreciated.

on the Arboleas forum there is a chap with the name tag Tetley, his son qualified here as a lawyer so he may be the one to answer your questions.  I know it wasn't cheap and of course there is the language side.

Yes she cant go to university with only gcses.

Bachillerato consists of 3 branches:

Sciences, humanities and social sciences,  arts.

Within each branch students must study three core subjects: philosophy spanish language and literature, a foreign language and spanish history.

Each branch has at least 2 optional  subjects which you must take.

Sciences: physics, biology, tech drawing, chemistry, geology.

Arts. Scenic arts. Design.

Social sciences and humanities: economy, greek, geography and history of the arts. Latin

Once passed the 2 years if they want to continue to university they must take an entrance exam called EBAU.
