Hallo Mojaqueros

What comprises a COVID passport for entry to hospitality etc under the new rules (in today’s El País)?

We are coming over from the uk. Will the NHS vaccination certificate suffice?

You can get a paper version sent to you by requesting it from nhs.uk. I would recommend everyone getting this as a backup

Only one bar in Mojácar has asked for a covid pass. The others I’ve visited either shrug their shoulders or act like they don’t know about it.

Unless their phone is an analogue (unlikely) all smartphone are capable of reading QR codes. It’s a simple download.

Just a correction, booster is not required to obtain “passport” because it’s still over 60s only in Spain receiving it (unless they have recently started inoculating over 50s)

QR code attesting to two inocculations (or single inocculation of Jansen) is all that is required.  Only place I’ve had it checked so far is at Cafe in IKEA, Murcia.

If your phone is less than 8 - 10 years old and has a touch screen, you will be able to get a cert with QR code

Dario, my friend

2 things made me smile:

(1). You went to IKEA (lmao at that)

(2). The phone thing (I know this isn’t you).  If you have a phone over 8 years old, don’t expect to be able to use it to do stuff.  It’s like buying a 1960s Triumph Toledo and complaining that the air conditioning isn’t good.  BUY A NEWER VERSION, or miss out on the ‘new’ functions.
