Yes . It takes about an hour by car. We do the journey a lot and it is a very pleasant drive. There is also a bus service once a day each way.
Thank you very much for your speedy reply. Good to know if we do not have transport we can still get out and about.
Now i just need to persuade the other half that even though it over 500m altitude it not that cold. :)

The short answer is not in any practical sense. It is possible to get one but would have to be booked well in advance. Potentially days. There is one in Bedar that you could get to come up and probably in Sorbas too but the cost could be pretty steep.
