We are hoping to move to the area in the next couple of months and are contemplating driving over from the UK once we have completed on our purchase. Rather than going through the process of getting our car registered in Spain does anyone know of any garages that may part exchange a right hand for a left handed car.

I assume your car is currently UK registered? If so I doubt that any garage would take it in part ex. If they did they would have to change registration to Spain (matriculation) cost for this can be 2 to 3,000 euros or more.
Probably better to sell in UK and buy Spanish vehicle here.

We drove back to UK Summer 2018 after bringing us and our stuff over by car and by part-load. Sold the UK RHD car in the U.K, flew back here, then bought a Spanish LHD car, exchanged our UK licences for Spanish ones. Doing things this way was so much easier.
