Can anyone tell me if towing a car using an a frame, with the car using it’s own Braking system in conjunction with the Motorhomes is legal in Spain. There are a few companies in the uk who are selling this system saying it is legal to drive in Spain. If anyone knows what is legal or not could you please let me know. If anyone knows the local police then that could be the answer. Many thanks.

Hi,

What about asking Julian at Hispavan or David at Caravanas Cruz, Elche?

If you are talking UK registered no problem but I have read in the past that it is not legal on Spanish registered.

A frames are not accepted in Spain, tow on a trailer no problem. Suppliers argue UK law applies through europe, but it doesn,t. Local police will always enforce local law.
