Hi, depending on which side of Urcal you are, come into the village, either go past the bar Amazir if coming from "town" side or the "recycling" bins from the motorway side, you should see a bus stop with a non potable water fountain behind, plus a couple more bins, the doctors surgery is set back a bit from the road, up some steps.
Opening hours are usually 9-11 monday tuesday thursday friday, wednesday 12-2, maybe 11-1.
Miriam the dispensing receptionist gets in around 9.15, she speaks good enough english. Rosa the doctor doesnt speak a word.
If you register you'll usually have to undergo blood and urine analysis at the clinic in Santa Maria de Nieva, then kind of have an interview with Rosa when you get the results where you'll go through whatever meds your taking and get the Spanish equivalent. Pensioners/pensionistas pay 10% of the cost of a prescription, it'll take you approx' 2 months maybe less to go thru the procedure to get a medical card, if your again retired, you can still register if your not pensionable age, you'll just have to get private medical insurance.
Anything else just ask. Have a great day.
